Depending upon your level of dedication, a Sociology major can take the following time to complete:

  • Associate Degree: provides students with the first two years of a three or four-year curriculum for students who intend to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
  • Bachelor Degree: investigates cultural, social and political trends and develops sought-after skills in critical and creative thinking. Usually completed in three to four years.
  • Master Degree: applies academic knowledge and critical-thinking skills to many issues, including groups in conflict, cultural and social change, racial and ethnic diversity, and social inequality. This requires an extra one or two years of formal study.

A Bachelor degree is typically equivalent to 3 or 4 years full-time studies, each year comprising of 10 subjects. Final cost can be calculated by multiplying the number of years by the number of subjects per year by the cost per subject.

Example: 3 years x 10 subjects per year x $670 per subject = $20,100.
